About This Area of Work

Vanalok Foundation's Forest, Wildlife & Agriculture pillar addresses the complex interface between human communities and wild landscapes. The Foundation works across forest conservation, wildlife awareness, sustainable agriculture, and agro-forestry to build a future where nature and people thrive together.

From creating immersive wildlife exhibits that tell the story of endangered species to developing DPRs that restore mining-scarred forest habitats, Vanalok brings both science and art to conservation.

In agriculture, the Foundation promotes climate-smart, biodiversity-friendly farming — celebrating traditional practices like Yellu Amavase while introducing modern innovations like vertical farming.
